🥚Technology Cooking - Quiche🥚

🥚Technology Cooking - Quiche🥚
Malo lelei unicorns, aliens, viewers or who or whatever you are and welcome back to my blog!

As you know on Thursdays is the day where we have Technology and so today we had cooking. This session was going to be the last technology for Term 3 because it is the last week. I had came late to school so I had to get my mom to just drop me off the college. Little did I know that the band members actually had to stay at school and not go to Tamaki College today because the morning block would have been the only block they were allowed to rehearse. Although I was a bit upset about not going to band I was also very excited for cooking because for the first time Grace was my partner for cooking and we had been planning to be cooking partners since term 1 so we were both really excited!

Before we started on the actual cooking we had gotten a little word from our teacher, she was saying how we don't coming to cooking class to eat, we come there to learn helpful life lessons on how to make simple but delicious food. We had written down the 4 main instructions which are,
  1. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
  2. READ INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY
  3. KNOW HOW TO MEASURE CORRECTLY
  4. SHOW RESPECT
These instructions are what we need to be showing all the time and inside of the class while cooking. TOday we were going to be making quiche and the ingredients we would need were -
  1. Two slips of pastry
  2. Ham
  3. 4 eggs
  4. Oven
  5. Knife
  6. Muffin Tray
  7. Whisk
  8. Cheese
And lastly the additude to do it.
  • You first off start by cutting the pastries into circles with a cup or round object and then placing them in the muffin tray.
  • Then combining diced ham, cheese and 4 cracked eggs into a mixed bowl.
  • Later on pouring the ingredients in the big bowl into the muffin trays nice and easily measured out.
  • Now putting it into the oven at 250 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Dig your knife in to make sure that it is ready once it is brown and fully cooked.
After you are finish your remaining quiche should look like this:

I hope you enjoyed this blog and I dare you to comment what you think I can improve, would you try this recipe out and what you would change about this meal.

A fun fact is that the more egg yolk you have is the more greasier your quiche would be.
